Third Person (POV)
Somewhere over Germany
The room was in half darkness, cold, and smelled of metal, oil, and rusted blood. Not that the short, squat old war veteran minded as he sat upon his throne of blood of the wars long past and soon to come. A grin slowly found it's way onto the face of the veteran as he watched the bright screen ahead of him. Everything was turning out beautifully. The Hellsing force was weakened by the recent attack, and Iscariot's ego was slightly raised, making them more easy to control. And his greatest achievement was almost ready to fit into his plan. Just a tiny push was needed to make everything perfect...
Anderson's POV
"Are we really headed to South America?" (Name)'s voice interrupted my thoughts. I turned to look at her sitting next to me, and smiled slightly when I saw her excited face.
"Yes, dear one, we are. Did you remember to pack the weapons I told you to?"
"Yes, Father. And the books, the lessons, and my cellphone in case I need to call you."
"Good girl. It's going to be a long flight, so make sure you get plenty of rest, alright?" She smiled at me, her (e/c) eyes shining with excitement through her long bangs.
"Yes, Father." She closed her eyes and leaned back in a relaxed pose, her breathing slowing. I pulled out my travel edition of the Holy Bible from an inside pocket of my white coat, settling into my seat. I did this just to look busy so that I could think. No one really wanted to bother a priest while he was reading through his Bible.
Why Maxwell was sending us to help those pathetic Hellsing mongrels was beyond me... Maybe he was trying to win Integra's favor? No, certainly not. He hated that Protestant sow... Maybe he was attempting to flirt with (Name) by showing he could be compassionate? Maybe. I sighed softly, turning the page. I had raised that boy since he first came to my orphanage, and he is as much a mystery now as he was then. His reasons are his own, I suppose...
